Riding Israel

Between 2005-2010, there were a series of yearly events called "Israel Cross-Country", made especially for off-roads vehicles and motorcycles. The on-road motorcycling community did not want to stay behind, so they created a parallel event called "Israel Around the Country". Helio participated in some of these events.

In 2023, as a result of his increasing communication with riding communities from around the world, Helio decided to write a series of articles (which appear at the blog on this site), dividing Israel in regions and presenting the beautiful parts of the countries for motorcyclists from distant countries.

For his surprise, the articles brought deep interest in the Israeli community as well, so he decided to make this series of lectures based on the articles. These are the lectures and the regions presented:

1. Introduction, the Western Galilee and the Upper Galilee
2. The Golan Heights
3. The Lower Galilee
4. Jerusalem Heights
5. The Dead Sea
6. The way to Eilat and the return from there

The presentation describes the regions, the roads to take, and shows the places to visit making use of pictures and videos. Most itineraries may be done by motorcycle or by car.
